Our stylists work with your starting color, hair history, maintenance preferences, and goals to create a look that feels personal and realistic for your hair.
Color services range from root refreshes, all-over color, glosses, and toners to partial and full highlights, lived-in color, balayage, blonding, platinum maintenance, money pieces, brunette color, and vivid shades. Whether you want soft dimension, a brighter blonde, richer color, or a completely new look, the right appointment depends on both where your hair is now and where you want it to go.
For larger transformations, vivid color, color corrections, or multi-step blonding appointments, starting with a consultation gives you and your stylist time to discuss your inspiration, hair history, pricing, maintenance, and realistic expectations before the full service.

Balayage & Lived-In Color
Looking for dimensional, lower-maintenance color? Planted offers partial and full lived-in color and balayage services in Salt Lake City for clients who want brightness, dimension, or a softer grow-out. Maintenance balayage and partial lived-in color currently start at $125, while full blonding and lived-in balayage start at $175. Haircut options are also available with both services.

Root Refresh & All-Over Color
Keep your existing color fresh or take your natural shade richer with Planted’s traditional hair color services. Root refresh appointments currently start at $85 and focus on new growth without lightener or foils. All-over color starts at $110 and applies one color from roots to ends at the same level as your natural hair or darker. Both services can also be booked with a haircut.

Platinum & Money Pieces
For clients who want targeted brightness or a bold blonde look, Planted offers both platinum maintenance and face-framing color options. A Money Piece + Toner currently starts at $90 and uses a few foils around the hairline to refresh and brighten. Platinum Retouch starts at $185 and is designed for maintaining solid blonde with up to one inch of regrowth.

Blonding & Highlights
From maintaining an existing blonde to creating a brighter, more dimensional look, Planted offers partial highlights, full highlights, maintenance blonding, and full blonding services. The right appointment depends on your current color, desired brightness, and how much dimension you want. Larger blonding changes or multi-step appointments may benefit from a consultation before booking.

Glosses & Toners
Gloss and toner appointments are a great option for refreshing existing color, enhancing shine, or maintaining blonde between larger color appointments. Planted’s Gloss/Toner Refresh + Blowout currently starts at $70 and does not include lightener. It’s an easy way to freshen the tone and finish of your hair without booking a full blonding or color service.

Vivid Color & Transformations
For something outside the natural hair-color spectrum, Planted offers vivid color appointments starting at $200. These are multi-process color services designed for bold, creative shades and require a consultation for all new vivid-color clients. The consultation gives you and your stylist time to discuss your desired look, starting hair, pricing, timing, and a realistic plan before the full appointment.
